"For ye all are children of God by faith in Jesus Christ. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female, for ye are all one in Jesus Christ," (Galatians 4:26-28).
The above Scripture details who we are in Christ Jesus. When we accepted the Lord Jesus as our Savior, Master, Redeemer, Friend, Shepherd (and many other titles), we were translated (placed) out of darkness and evil into God's Kingdom of light and good. His good triumphs over evil!
What is evil? Evil is the work of Satan and his adversaries. As God is good, Satan is evil. Hebrews 10:7 speaks a powerful truth! Jesus said, "Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God."
What is God's will? Life, not death. Jesus expressed God's will. "The thief cometh not but, for to steal, and kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
As God needed a body to do His will, and Jesus was that body, He needs a body today. Born again Christians, believers, are God's body who does His work and pleasure.
Likewise, Satan needs a body to work through. Today's war is not between race or color or religion. Today's war is between good and evil. Good fights for life, health, peace, joy, prosperity, freedom in all that concerns a human being. Good is honest, sincere, loyal, faithful, strong, and honorable.
Each Christian must have a revelation of John 10:10. The line is drawn. It is each human being's choice which side he or she chooses. As Moses said, "Who is on the Lord's side?" Their choice determined life or death.
Whose report will you believe? God's? Flesh? Satan's?
Jesus gave us the answer. "It is written." If it is not written in the Scriptures, we should not be a partaker of it.
The Apostle James gave us the way we cannot be deceived. "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves," (James 1:22). Truth looks like, speaks like, and acts like Jesus Christ. Truth - produces and gives life. Yes, death is our enemy because Satan is our enemy.
Our love and prayers go to the fallen and wounded heroes and their families. Our compassionate Intercessor, the Lord Jesus Christ is faithfully interceding for you.
