We enter His gates with thanksgiving, into His courts with praise, and into His holy of holies with worship.  We must maintain a grateful heart to enter His gates.  Praise!  Shout!  Clap your hands.  When praising, your mind is on God and what He has done, is doing, or will do for you.  Therefore one could say praise is 50/50 = half on God and half on you.  But worship .... Though it involves six meanings, this one prevails.  When worshipping  God, you and God are alone.  You have no consideration of self, people, or places, or time.  John 4:23 says, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:  for the Father seeketh such to worship him."
